Dr. Marcia Glenn, M.D.
 

Dr. Marcia Glenn is the founder and director of Odyssey MediSpa. She has expanded one of the most successful dermatology and dermatological surgery practices in Southern California to include the revitalizing and healthful services of an elegant medically supervised day spa. As a prize-winning researcher, Dr. Glenn is constantly poised at the forefront of groundbreaking study and practice in the care of the most prominent organ of the body-the skin. From conditions as common as acne to those as mysterious as alopecia, Dr. Glenn has demonstrated a sensitive and meticulous approach to resolving skin problems, both cosmetic and life threatening. The Odyssey MediSpa is the natural extension of a career dedicated to innovation, comfort and good health.

For 14 years, Dr. Glenn has been in private practice as a board-certified dermatologist and is member of the Los Angeles Metropolitan Dermatology Society and fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She is Assistant Professor of Dermatology and Director of the Pediatric Dermatology Clinic at King/Drew Medical Center.

Dr. Glenn earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of Pennsylvania and her medical degree from the University of Michigan.

 Dr. Mel Braxton, D.C.

Dr. Mel Braxton graduated from Long Beach State University and studied at Cleveland Chiropractic College in 1998.  Specializing in sports medicine, physical rehabilitation, chiropractic care, massage therapy, acupressure, and nutritional guidance, his passion is to educate his patients on how to heal themselves naturally and help them to understand the difference between medicine and natural cures for disease.  He has been in the business of helping those in need for over seven years and goes far beyond the call of duty. 

Dr. Braxton is a native of Orange County, California.

Dr. Nicole Williams, M.D.
 

Dr. Nicole Williams, Weight Management Specialist, graduated top of her class at Howard University College of Medicine.  She is a board certified Family Medicine Physician who specializes in Bariatric Medicine.  Currently, she is the Medical Director of the City of Angels Hospital comprehensive weight loss program, Medilite.  Dr. Williams is an active member for the American Society of Bariatric Physicians and speaks all over the world, as well as locally at schools, colleges, and churches in order to promote healthy lifestyles.

Dr. Lawrence D. Robinson, Jr., MD
 

Dr. Lawrence D. Robinson Jr. graduated from Howard Medical School in 1968.  He completed his pediatric residency at the John Hopkins Hospital as the first African American resident.  After residency, he completed a two year stint in the US Army, serving both as a pediatrician and general medical officer.  He then completed a two-year allergy and immunology fellowship at the newly opened Martin Luther King Hospital in Los Angeles.  Dr. Robinson joined the pediatric faculty of the King Drew Medical Center and remained there until 2006.  Dr. Robinson continues his academic activities as a Professor of Pediatrics at UCLA School of Medicine.

Maritza L. Garcia-Roddy
Mrs. Maritza L. Garcia-Roddy will serve as the wardrobe consultant in our Image Enhancement Department. She has had extensive experience as a costume supervisor on notable films and television shows, such as “Training Day,” “Price of Glory,” “Higher Learning” and “All of Us.”

She received her Undergraduate Degree in Fashion Design from Woodbury University.

Doris Mosley
Ms. Doris Mosley, a cosmetologist, educator, stylist, and beauty industry trailblazer directs the Odyssey Salon. Ms. Mosley has been featured in top trade magazines where her innovative hair cutting, styling, and coloring approach have been featured. She has owned her own hair salon, acted as education director of a cosmetology school, and developed her own line of professional hair care products over the past 25 years.
